Surroundings Peccioli

The Upper Era Valley Park features many well-equipped areas set aside for sports: from football pitches to gyms, from tennis courts to athletics tracks and extending to Peccioli’s recently built Palatenda. The area is also extremely proud of its recreational facilities, such as the cycle track and the Chianni and Peccioli swimming pools in their leafy settings, all amenities laid on for residents, but crucial, too, to enhancing the pleasure of the tourists who choose the park as their holiday destination. In this connection, we cannot but mention the signposted hiking trails that wind through the striking countryside, the areas with camper van facilities and the Capannoli aerodrome, the scene of major national light aircraft and parachuting events as well as a variety of light-hearted open-air days for adults and kids alike, such as the kite flying days.
